Open Systems is seeking a SQL Server DBA/Developer for a large client in the Boston area. The right person will need a superior level of understanding and experience with both SQL 2005 and 2008. The skills to plan, test and implement modifications to the database are daily requirement of the role along with reporting, backups, restores, performance monitoring and scripting. Extensive experience developing triggers, indexes and stored procedures is required. This person will work with various team members to implement schema designs (ERWIN) changes along with sizing, database design and impact analysis. This role also requires an on call rotation.

Extensive SQL 2005/2008 experience
Very strong Transact-SQL skills
Experience writing complex queries and appropriately encapsulating into stored procedures and user defined functions
